Travel to Mallorca

First you have to reach the city through Son Sant Joan Airport also known as Palma de Mallorca Airport. It is situated 8 km eastof Palma the capital of Mallorca. This airport it is the third largest airport in Spain.  It is also one of the busiest airports in Europe during the months of summer. It even accommodated 22.7 million passengers in the year 2011. Taking a bus is a cheap and ideal option for you. You can also catch a bus from the airport to Placa d’Espanya (bus number one), which is leaving every 15 minutes. Once on Placa d’Espanya, there is another information office, where you can pick up the timetables. The office is open daily from 9 am to 8 pm except Saturday, where they open from 9 am to 1:30 pm and closed every Sunday and during public holidays.
